Great Lakes Invitational 2018 and Detroit Red Wings Game
The Great Lakes Invitational is a two-day, single-elimination tournament at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and has been a holiday tradition for sports fans in southeast Michigan for 54 years. This year’s tournament features event host Michigan Tech and tournament regulars Michigan and Michigan State. Lake Superior State is set to participate in the tournament for the fourth time and most
recent appearance since 1999.

Monday, Dec. 31, Little Caesars Arena
- Third-Place Game – 11:30 a.m.
- Championship Game – 2:30 p.m.
- Detroit Red Wings vs. Florida Panthers – 7:30 p.m.
