Alum Success

Andrea Hornblower

"An opportunity like this never would have come available to me if I had not taken the program in the Sault College/LSSU International Division," Hornblower said. "My employer was very impressed with the fact that I not only had a degree in computer networking, but the hands-on knowledge, as well. This is the main reason that I was hired."

Sponsor a Student from Your Hometown

The LSSU Alumni Association would like to encourage alumni to sponsor a scholarship for current LSSU students. Alumni Board member Eric Dean points out that alumni don't have to give thousands of dollars to make a difference "Even just a couple hundred dollars to buy books can make a big difference to a student," Eric Said. "If you like, you can specify the grant is to go towards a student from your hometown, a specific high school, or from a particular geographic area." For more information on establishing a scholarship and helping LSSU students, contact Sharon Dorrity in the LSSU Foundation office at sdorrity@lssu.edu.
