Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1974 NAIA Championship and 30th Anniversary of the 1994 NCAA Championship as part of Great Lake State Weekend (GLSW) and hockey alumni weekend!

All hockey alumni are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Each hockey alumnus in attendance will receive two complimentary tickets for both the Friday and Saturday games.  Additional tickets will go on sale in the fall and can be purchased by contacting Associate Athletic Director of External Relations/SWA Abbie Laajala at [email protected]. Below is the weekend schedule of events. We look forward to seeing each of you back at Taffy Abel Arena.
Friday, October 18th
  • Friday – 4pm – ’74 reunion celebration sponsored by the ’74 team. Location TBD.
  • Friday – 7pm hockey game – ’74/’94 teams and families have access to the alumni box. Light food will be provided. On-ice recognition during the 1st intermission.

Saturday, October 19th

  • 10:30am – Tour of locker room/meet with team
  • 12:00pm-3:00pm – Alumni and Athletic Hall of Fame Awards/Banquet. *Tickets on sale this spring*
  • 4pm-6pm – Tailgate inside SAC – Complimentary food and cash bar for all attendees.
  • 6pm – Hockey game with ’74/’94 teams and families with access to the alumni box. Light snacks provided.
Sunday, October 20th
  • 8:30am – Hockey alumni players-only meeting with coaching staff on needs of the program.
