2026 Superior Ice Showdown: GFL Memorial Gardens

The Superior Ice Showdown celebrates the strong hockey connection between the Twin Saults and offers alumni in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, a chance to see Laker Hockey in their community. Please join us for the 2026 Superior Ice Showdown on January 23, 2026, at GFL Memorial Gardens in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The event will feature an NCAA Division I Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) regular season game between the LSSU Lakers and the University of St. Thomas Tommies.
The Pre-Game social inside the Gardens will take place from 5-6:30 PM, with puck drop scheduled for 7:07 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the GFL Memorial Gardens Box Office or online at https://gflgardens.ca/LSSU.
