Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1972 NAIA Championship and 30th Anniversary of the 1992 NCAA Championship as part of Great Lake State Weekend (GLSW) and hockey alumni weekend!

All hockey alumni are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Each hockey alumnus in attendance will receive one complimentary ticket for both the Friday and Saturday games against U of M. If you need to purchase additional tickets, please contact Assistant Athletic Director and SWA Abbie Laajala at [email protected]. Below is the weekend schedule of events. We look forward to seeing each of you back at Taffy Abel Arena.
Friday, October 21st 
  • Lakers vs. U of M
    • 7pm puck drop: Join us in the alumni box with your fellow LSSU hockey alumni as we take on the Wolverines
Saturday, October 22nd 
  • 1:30pm – 3:30pm: Enjoy refreshments while hockey alumni and families have the opportunity to tour the newly renovated locker room and Doug Weight Performance Center. Open skate for all LSSU hockey alumni
  • 4pm-6pm : Pre-game family fun with all LSSU Alumni in the Student Activity Center (SAC).
  • Lakers vs. U of M
    • 6pm puck drop: Join us in the Alumni Box with your fellow LSSU hockey alumni as we take on the Wolverines for game two of our series.
    • 1st intermission – Members of the ’72 and ’92 teams will be honored on the ice as part of the weekend celebration.
