Around the World RUSSIAN TOUR – Linda LeBombard ‘77 appears to be affixing her copy of the Laker Log to the Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg. The church was built on the site where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated in 1881. LeBombard was touring Russia with her fiancé Bob Halifax, who works for Rolls Royce International LLC in Vyborg. The pair took in many sights, including the Portovaya Gas Pumping Station, the largest natural gas pumping station in the world. Besides the photos, LeBombard brought back some blue-and-gold-wrapped chocolates that reminded her of her alma mater, and she generously shared them with the LSSU PR staff.
